Jesse Radzik was able to clinch the doubles point by defeating Fernanda Navarrete/Amya Sanchez, winning 69% of points on their own second serve. They also hit five volley winners in the set, controlling the front of the court when it mattered most.
Okalava battled Lehman's Avdyli at the No. 1 singles spot, where a tight first set gave way to a more comfortable win in the second set.
Kelly played No. 2 singles against Lopez, finishing first out of all of the singles matches.
At No. 3 singles, Zabala-Cornejo faced Vargas, losing a tough match where she defended valiantly.
Santos won 68% of points played on her opponent's first serve. That proved to be crucial to the win at No. 4 singles over Nlemchukwu.
Victoria Bagatcholon played in the No. 5 singles spot, where she took a victory against the Lightning's Navarette. The match came down to a final set tiebreak, where Bagatcholon jumped out to an early 4-0 lead and carried it to the finish line.
At No. 6, Radzik won comfortably against Shelby Gonzalez, finishing the match by forcing a backhand error on the fourth shot of the rally.
The Raptors will look to reverse the pattern of winning every other match each time they take the court. Bard travels to RPI at 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th.
