ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Bard College women's tennis team kicked off the spring segment of their season against No. 38 ranked Skidmore on Sunday afternoon. 

First-year Hanna Okalava was the lone Raptor to win a game against her opponent at No. 1 singles. Lisa Kyrtoka played in her first collegiate match at No. 5 singles, while Jacinta Creel, who played squash in the winter season, competed at No. 6 singles. 

Bard will host William Paterson on Friday at 5 p.m. for a non-conference matchup.
