ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College men's volleyball team fell in its conference opener against defending NEVC champions Endicott, 3-0 on Saturday morning at Stevenson Athletic Center.
Bard was led by first-year
Kincade Avery with nine kills, while graduate student
Angel Obergh led the team with seven digs. The Raptors struggled to get the offense going, as they were limited to only 16 kills. Endicott, a strong-hitting team, hit .302 and totaled 48 kills. The Raptors had their best chance in the third set as they went back and forth with the Gulls in a tight 25-21 set.
Bard will travel to NVU-Johnson next Saturday for a doubleheader, with the first match result going into the conference standings. First serve is at 11 am.
