PREVIEW: Baseball heads to Florida for Spring Break Games

Raptors will face UW-EAU Claire, Elmhurst, Keuka

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard baseball team will head to Florida for spring games, competing at Lake Myrtle Park this weekend and into next week.

The Raptors will face UW-Eau Claire on Saturday for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. Followed by another doubleheader on Sunday against Elmhurst at 2:30 p.m. Bard will wrap it up on Tuesday for a single game against Keuka. 

Live streams for the games are not free but can be purchased  here - the stream is operated by the venue, and the cost for all games is $69.95 (+ sales tax if applicable). Live stats and results will be available for each game at bardathletics.com.  

There will also be live updates on Bard Baseball's Twitter/X and Instagram.

About UW-Eau Claire
The Blue and Golds have an overall record of 0-2. The team fell to UW-Parkside in a doubleheader, 5-9 and 4-5 (12 inn.). Junior Walter Johnson leads the team with a .364 batting average, four hits and three RBIs. 

About Elmhurst 
The Bluejays have an overall record of 0-7. The team fell to Grinnell in a doubleheader, 1-15 (8 Inn) and 2-13 (7 inn). Junior Erik Malott leads the team with a .333 batting average, seven hits and five walks.

About Keuka
The Wolves have an overall record of 0-5. The team fell to SUNY Poly, 8-9 (9 Inn) and had to cancel the other three games against the Wildcats. Sophomore Derek Novicki leads the team with a .444 batting average, four hits and four RBIs.
