ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Xavier Webb, a member of the Bard College baseball team, was honored as a 2026 Division III Academic All-District team member, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.
Webb is studying economics and started 23 games for the Raptors. He was 2nd on the team in stolen bases (10), had Bard's only four-hit game against a Liberty League opponent this season, tied for the longest hitting streak this season (8).
For his career, he is 5th in program history in stolen bases (28). Webb was also named to the Liberty League All-Academic team.
To be recognized on the Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and enrolled full-time with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. The student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
The Academic All-District Team is selected by the College Sports Communicators.
