ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. — The Bard College men's basketball team was bested by St. Lawrence in a Liberty League matchup Saturday night at Stevenson Athletic Center, 69-45.

Rowan Heinze led the Raptors with his second double-double of the season with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Senior

Mike Parme, who was injured early in the season, scored his first two points of the season.
St. Lawrence (7-3, 3-2) started the game on a 10-0 run and shot 7-of-11 from the three-point range in the first half. The Raptors held their own and were only down by 10 points at halftime, including a halfcourt shot by Almodovar with one second left on the clock. In the second half, the Raptors got within six points of the Saints, but SLU's offense stayed hot and shot 58.3 percent from the field, including 6-of-12 from the three-point range.
Bard will travel to Union on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip off.
