The Bard College men's basketball team's second-half surge was not enough to defeat St. Lawrence as the Raptors fell 60-49 in a Liberty League game on Friday night.
Bard had three players with double-digit points, led by senior
Lazaros Panagiotounis who had 12 points and five assists. Seniors
Elliot Harris and
Azriel Almodovar each had 11 points, with Harris adding five boards while Almodovar had two steals.
St. Lawrence started off hot in the first half, with Adam Dudzinski scoring 21 of the 45 points for the Saints. The Raptors narrowed down a 26-point deficit at the half to nine points late in the game, and outscored the Saints 25-15 in the second half, but the hosts' hot three-point shooting held up.
The Raptors will look to bounce back tomorrow as they take on Clarkson at 4 p.m.
