The Bard College women's cross-country team had three of its five scoring runners among the Top 16 finishers on Friday at the New Paltz Invitational and finished 2nd out of 12 schools with 91 points.
Junior
Sadie Torre paced the Raptors with a ninth-place finish and cut her personal best by one minute with a 29:11.3 finish. Fellow junior
Mayerli Collantes Cook finished 13th with a time of 29:57.5.
First-years
Odille Zexter-Kaiser and
Violet DiBiasio had their first collegiate 6K run. Zexter-Kaiser finished 16th with a time of 31:17.1, while DiBiasio finished 27th, right behind sophomore
Chloe Desautels.
It is the best performance by the Raptors since finishing third in the Fred Pavlich Invitational on Sept. 18, 2021.
Bard returns to action next week when they host the Fred Pavlich Invitational on Saturday.
