HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bard men's track team competed in Trinity College's Invitational meet on Saturday, with several Raptors earning team points at the event.
 
Jack Keelan finished second place in the 800m with a time of 1:56.00, and Clemente Esponilla ran a 16:25.73 in the 5000m, also earning second. CeDaniel Sumpter earned sixth place in the 400m at 52.64.
 
Several other Raptors had strong performances and PRs, including Hosam Jawabra in the 200m, and Nic Soucy and Graeme Lauterbach-Mason in the 1500m. Several Raptors competed as part of two mixed 4x400m relay teams, the only time the Raptors will compete in the event this season.
 
Bard will have a tune-up next week before the Liberty League Championships on May 5-6 in Rochester.
