The Bard College track and field team had four student athletes record new personal best times at the RPI Under the Lights Invitational on Friday, including four Raptors placing in the top 8 in four different events. 

On the women's side, first-year Mieke Matteson placed fifth in the high jump, clearing 1.35 meters, while junior Hawra Moochhala was two seconds off a qualifying time for the Liberty League Championships with a 7th placed finish in the 400 meters. Gabrielle Parchment reduced her 200 meter time from 31.15 to 29.69. Samantha Simon scraped four seconds off her personal best in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:42.89. J'adora Lively ran a personal best in the 100 meters with a time of 14.68. 

On the men's side, senior Jack Keelan won the 800 meters and ran a qualifying time for the Liberty League Championships with a time of 1:55.70. Fellow senior, Oliver Pawelek placed eighth in the same event, just two seconds off his personal best time. Joshua Schwartz ran in the 400 meters and won his heat. In the 1500 meters, Elijah Flynn won his heat and ran a personal best.

Bard will travel to Trinity College next Saturday, April 20 for the Trinity Invitational.
