ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY – The Bard men's tennis team lost 9-0 to a strong Ithaca team on Sunday, though several Raptors played well in their matches.
Bard's #1 singles player,
Noah Gulla, again made the match difficult for his opponent, who earned a 6-4, 6-2 win. Gulla and doubles partner
Thanasis Kostikas also played the closest doubles match, ultimately falling by an 8-4 score.
Elsewhere on the ladder,
Duncan MacDonald earned three games in his match at #5 singles, but Ithaca was able to hold control of the match to earn the sweep.
The Raptors will have a slight break in the calendar before hosting Western Connecticut State on Thursday, April 13 in the team's next match.
