Box Score NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Bard men's volleyball team traveled into the city on Friday evening for a match against Hunter College, with the hosts earning a 3-0 victory.
 
The Raptors will be back in action on Saturday afternoon at home, hosting Medgar Evers College in the Stevenson Athletic Center.
 
Hunter started strong on Friday, jumping out to a quick 8-1 lead en route to a 25-13 win in the first set. The Hawks took the second set 25-10, and the Raptors battled back in the third and pulled to within three points to make it 19-16, but Hunter eventually captured the final set by a 25-18 score.
 
Ty McGlynn (9 kills and one ace) and Angel Obergh (8 kills and two aces) once again led the Raptors offensively, while Quinn Lewis (four digs) and Georgi Chikolov (three digs) added to the defensive effort. Chikolov added 15 assists.
 
Bard's match against Medgar Evers will start at 1pm on Saturday afternoon and the team will host a league match on Tuesday evening against Endicott College.
