Senior Jack Keelan broke the school record in the mile on Saturday as the Bard College men's track and field gets underway at the Suffolk Relay hosted by Suffolk University.
 
Keelan ran his first Mile event and surpassed Reed Campbell's 4:43.25 time. Keelan now holds five of the indoor track and field school records. Bard also had some collegiate debuts.
 
Bard will not be back in competition until late January.
