ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Senior Freddy Coronel won the 200-yard individual medley (IM) on Saturday to pace the Bard College men's swimming team in a home dual meet against SUNY Potsdam held at the Aquatics Center.

Coronel impressed in the 200 IM with a nine-second victory, touching the wall in a victorious time of 2:14.46. After a break for Potsdam to compete in diving, Coronel came right back and narrowly missed a victory in the 100-yard butterfly. He finished second in 56.08 seconds, just .11 seconds behind the victor.

First-year Neil Bhatia was the runner-up in the 100-yard backstroke, swimming 1:07.67.

The Raptors concluded the dual meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The team of Magnus Thompson, Reece Sherf, Bhatia and Coronel swam 1:50.66.

Potsdam claimed the dual meet by a score of 143-33.

Bard is back in action next Saturday at St. Lawrence.
