The Bard College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference match against SUNY Poly on Wednesday night, falling 1-0 at SUNY Poly's Wilcat Field.
Bard (4-9-1) outshot Poly (8-7-1) 20-5, and had a 12-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Raptors also had four corner kicks to the host's one, but Bard could not find the back of the net.
The Wilcats' goalkeeper had 12 saves, while Bard's junior Seymoe Rosenberg's had a pair of saves. Sophomore
Carina Cooke had a team high four shots on goal. In the first half, the Raptors had eight shots on goal, and four in the second half. SUNY Poly scored the lone goal six minutes into the second half, and all three of the Wildcats' shots on goal all came in the second half.
Bard will conclude its season on Saturday at 2 p.m. when the team travels to face Skidmore.
