Gallery: (10-11-2023) WVB vs. Vassar 10/11 
ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard College women's volleyball team was swept by Vassar, 3-0, in a Liberty League match on Wednesday night at the Stevenson Athletic Center. 
Bard (9-12, 0-5 Liberty League) totaled 21 kills, with senior 
Ryan Lum leading the team, tallying eight kills and 15 digs. Sophomore 
Abi Batingan added five kills and three digs. Senior 
Adi David had 14 assists and added two kills. 
The Raptors were unable to pick up momentum in the first set as Vassar (10-8, 3-1) opened up with an 8-3 lead. Bard lessened the gap to two points, 7-9, but the Brewers went on a 16-2 run and ran away with the first set. 
In the second set, the Raptors had an 11-6 lead, but Vassar went on a 5-0 run and tied the set 11-11. A 9-5 run gave Bard a 20-16 lead but the Brewers fought back to within one, 21-20. A Vassar service error followed by a service ace from senior 
Puja Clements, gave Bard a 23-20 lead but Vassar took off on a 5-0 run to close out the second set. 
Vassar came out aggressive in the third set, leading off with a 10-2 lead. Bard tried to get back into the set by going on a 7-3 run, including five kills from Lum, but Vassar maintained their momentum and did not allow the Raptors to tie the set on their way to the 25-17 victory to close out the match. 
Bard heads to Skidmore for a tri-match against the Thoroughbreds at 11 a.m. and Ramapo at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
