ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team lost to Rochester Institute of Technology, 3-0, in a Liberty League match on Friday.
The Raptors produced nine aces in the first set and led much of the way, but RIT rallied to take that set, 25-23, and the next two sets, 25-17 and 25-12.
Nyla Lawrence led Bard with four kills and a block;
Adi David had eight assists, five digs and four aces.
Ella Small added five digs and
Abi Batingan contributed three aces.
Bard will play two neutral-site matches at RIT on Saturday, against DeSales and Morrisville State.
