ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team swept City College of New York, 3-0, in a non-league match on Wednesday night.
CCNY came into the night 9-1, off to the best start in program history, but Bard took care of business, 25-18, 25-16 and 25-23.
"Our serving really bailed us out tonight," Bard coach
Lindsey Veersma said. "It was nice to get another win at home."
Ryan Lum led the Raptors with 15 kills, seven digs and five aces.
Emily Hall Smith and
Precious Star had four kills apiece, and Star added four blocks.
Adi David had 26 assists and 11 digs,
Ella Small led the squad with 18 digs, and
Puja Clements added six digs and three aces.
Bard travels to Rochester next. The Raptors will play at RIT on Friday, then take on DeSales and Morrisville State at RIT on Saturday.
