POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Bard College women's cross country team competed at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational on Saturday, hosted by Vassar College.

Due to injuries, only one runner competed for Bard, and that was Sadie Torre.

"Over the last few weeks she has turned into a fierce runner and I'm proud of her," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "Her progress over the last couple of weeks, and her mental maturity means that she is going to shock a lot of people down the road. This is the result of her hard work so far."

Up next for Bard is the Fred Pavlich Invitational on Sept. 24. It'll be held at Montgomery Place this year.
