GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Bard College baseball team lost to Nichols College, 9-5, in a non-league game played at Messiah University on Friday.

Jake Stacey went 3-for-4 with a walk and two RBIs,
Jared Toby drove in a pair of runs, and
Adrian O'Toole hit a pinch-hit RBI triple as Bard tried to rally late.

Evan Matthews pitched really well today," Bard coach
Andy Salvatore said. "Nichols took advantage of some opportunities we gave them defensively. We are looking forward to getting after it on Saturday."
The Raptors and Bison will play again on Saturday at Messiah; first pitch has been moved to 10 a.m.
