ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team lost a United Volleyball Conference match to MIT, 3-0, on Friday night.
The Engineers prevailed 25-21, 25-19 and 25-14.
"We played well and fought for two sets," Bard coach
Adam Niemczynowicz said. "We've got to execute and keep focused at the end of games."
Ty McGlynn led Bard with 12 kills, and he hit .321.
Angel Obergh added 10 kills, and
Josh Kim had 25 assists.
"We know we can finish games, and it can't be enough any more," Niemczynowicz said. "It's always a pleasure to play against a classy team like MIT."
Bard hosts a tri-match on Saturday with 13th-ranked Nazareth and Sarah Lawrence. Matches are at 10, 12 and 2.
