ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Bard College men's basketball team lost to Rochester Institute of Technology, 95-73, in the Liberty League opener for both schools on Friday night.

Bard got 14 points apiece from Heston Tucker and Greg Farrow, 11 points, four rebounds and four steals from Azriel Almodovar, and 11 points from Elliot Harris. Ayo Akin-Bankole added six points and seven rebounds off the bench.

"This was not the way we wanted to start Liberty League play, but we showed a lot of fight in the second half," Bard coach Michael Lenahan said. "If we can learn to sustain that for 40 minutes we will have a chance to compete every night. We're excited to take on a good Ithaca team on Saturday."

The road trip continues for the Raptors with a game at Ithaca on Saturday afternoon.
