ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's squash team hosted the Bard Round Robin on Saturday.
Bard lost to Vassar, 8-1, the University of Connecticut, 7-2, and beat Swarthmore, 6-1.
Bard first year
Artemy Mukhin won all three matches at No. 1 for the Raptors. He started the day with a thrilling four-game win over Vassar's Rithik Jalali, edged UConn's Daniyal Athar in five games, then swept Paris Shan of Swarthmore in the final match of the day.
"Mukhin and Jalali played a friendly here a few weeks ago," Bard coach
Craig Thorpe-Clark said. "Artemy's tools are that he's patient, he hits it clean and he moves really well. It was his level of composure that got him through a very tough match."
Marty Graham won twice on the day at No. 2, winning matches against UConn and Swarthmore.
