ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Chayse McQuan has been named as the Assistant Coach of the Bard College Men's and Women's Squash Programs as announced by Head Men's and Women's Squash Coach, Jack Smith.

"I'm very excited to have Coach Chayse join the staff," said Smith. "He brings a wealth of experience both as a high-performance player and high-performance coach"

"I'm excited to join the Bard squash program and bring my experience and passion for the game to a team with tremendous potential, while helping develop a culture of excellence both on and off the court," said McQuan.

McQuan joins Bard after earning his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. A four-time national squash champion for Trinidad & Tobago, he brings extensive experience as both an elite competitor and coach.

His squash coaching experience includes stops at Nicol Squash and SquashRx in New York City, where he worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to high-performance competitors.

He most recently served as a Squash Coach at Nicol Squash in Times Square, where he provided private lessons, group clinics, and high-performance training sessions. He developed individualized training plans focused on technical skills, match strategy, fitness, and mental preparation.

Prior to his time at Nicol Squash, McQuan coached at SquashRx in New York, where he worked with adults, children, and teenagers across a wide range of skill levels. He designed age-appropriate training programs emphasizing technical development, tactical awareness, conditioning, and sportsmanship.
