RECAP: Men’s Squash Victorious Against Siena, 8-0

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Bard men's squash team defeated the Siena Saints on Saturday afternoon at Stevenson Athletic Center, 8-0.


Bard went up 3-0 as Siena defaulted 6, 7 and 8 ladder. Miguel Rodriguez Robles led off at the no. 1 ladder with a straight games win, allowing just 11 points. At the no. 2 ladder, Joas Erasmus completed the sweep, progressively conceding fewer points as the match went on. 

Jake Petersen continued the performance at the no. 3 ladder, dropping just the third game and responding well in the fourth, 11-4. At the no. 4 ladder, Leo Wainberg-Wolski won a close first game and then closed out the third and fourth games after the match was tied at a game apiece. 

Kasiem Washington swept his opponent and was clutch in each game, winning the final few points when it mattered the most. Julian Koulish and Desmond Lee hustled for points, respectively, during their exhibition matchup.
