SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team lost to Union College, 6-0, in its Liberty League opener on Wednesday night.
Seymone Rosenberg made nine saves, and
Madeline Chilton made four for Bard.
"Our first taste of Liberty League play was truly an eye-opening experience," Bard coach
Kate Hofstede said. "With a lot of first and second year player who never played in this conference, there's a big learning curve and everyone needs to embrace that.
"Credit to our back line for withstanding the high pressure from Union's fast and strong forwards," Hofstede added. "We will continue to build our speed of play and high pressure mentality. It will serve us well moving forward."
Up next for the Raptors is a Liberty League game at RPI on Saturday afternoon.
