TROY, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team lost a Liberty League game at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, 6-0, on Saturday.
"Today was a rough start giving up five goals in the first half," Bard coach
Kate Hofstede said. "The second half was a much better showing overall, with more consistency in attacking movement and fewer goal-scoring opportunities for the opponent."
First year
Sam Finn made seven saves in the second half.
"Continuing to build on our communication and decision-making will be important," Hofstede said. "We're looking forward to being back home for our next match as we've spent a lot of time on the road."
Bard will host Vassar on Wednesday night. The Raptors' last home game was on Sept. 5.
