BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Bard College women's tennis team opened the 2021-22 season at Sarah Lawrence College on Sunday afternoon.

The Raptors lost, 7-2.

Katri Shields won for Bard at No. 1 singles, and Victoria Bagatcholon prevailed at No. 6.

"Matches like this show us the work we need to do," Bard coach Roge Nesbitt said. "On Thursday we will get to it!"

The Raptors host Mount St. Mary College on Thursday.
