MADISON, N.J. - The Bard College women's soccer team lost to Drew University, 3-0, on Saturday. It was the first day of Drew's Fall Festival.
Drew scored once in the first half, and it was still 1-0 when Bard produced a PK, but it went wide and Drew went on to score two more times. Bard first year
Seymone Rosenberg had 12 saves.
"It was a great showing by Seymone in making big saves to keep us in the game," Bard coach
Kate Hofstede said. "We showed great promise getting our attacking rhythm, and we produced a PK which could have tied the game.
"Overall it was a physical match," Hofstede continued, "which will help to prepare us for Liberty League competition."
Bard will play Westfield State University on Sunday at noon as part of Day 2 of the Fall Festival.
