"Overall, we went in without our full squad, and we were just looking to understand some of our personnel," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "I'm really proud of the women's team. We had a lot of underclassmen representing in this race and they did not disappoint."
Gillian Adkins placed 17th,
Sadie Torre placed 24th, while
Zoe Greenhouse and
Oona Albert came in together, finishing 25th and 26th.
"Natasha was our low stick today and she ran a very tactical race," Poole-Harris said. "I believe
Zoe Greenhouse is going to be one to make a name for herself at Bard over this season and beyond."
On the men's side, Poole-Harris was happy with what he saw.

"We had a solid performance, given the conditions, and we weren't out here looking for personal records," he said. "I thought we had an outstanding performance from
Colin Terrien, seeing as how it was his first collegiate race and he really stuck with the pack.
Oliver Pawelek is really one to watch. He has all the tools to be a great runner."
The Raptors will be back at Vassar on Sept. 11 for the Ron Stonitsch Invitational.
