BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Bard College men's swimming team participated in a double dual meet at Sarah Lawrence with Maritime on Thursday.

Highlights for Bard included Tom Gadron taking third in the 100-back and Paul de Tournemire placing third in the 100-breast.

"The men had a tough road today, missing our top two first year swimmers," Bard coach John Weitz said. But the veterans Tom Gadron and John Reisert stepped up their game.

"John's swim in the 100-fly was solid," Weitz continued. "Going 1:00 in his first fly race of the season was a great start. I think John is starting to come around after the long layoff last year. Tom continues to improve with every race. He is way ahead of his swims from two years ago and is on pace to have a great Liberty League meet in February."

The Raptors next compete in the Don Richards Invitational, hosted by RIT on Dec. 3-4.
