ITHACA, N.Y. - The Bard College men's soccer team lost to Ithaca College, 6-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday afternoon.

The Bombers scored twice in the first half and four times in the second half.

"It was a challenging match against one of the top programs in the league," Bard coach TJ Kostecky said. "We had an opportunity to learn a lot about ourselves, because when you play against the best teams, they challenge you and and make you better. We learned."

Bard will host St. Lawrence and Clarkson on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

"What we saw today is the standard that our program is aspiring to reach," Kostecky said. "This is the standard that we will work to match, and eventually I expect our program to be able to compete against a team like this."
