SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Bard College women's cross country team placed ninth at the Liberty League Championships on Saturday.

Gillian Adkins was Bard's top finisher, placing 39th, with Natasha Cameron just a few spots behind in 42nd.

"Gillian Adkins was out low stick today with running very close to her lifetime PR," Bard coach Billy Poole-Harris said. "Natasha had a solid day in the office today. I was very pleased with how she navigated the hills and competition."

"Year One completed," Poole-Harris said. "The team as a whole has grown a ton since August. I believe that they are starting to buy in to my coaching philosophy and we as a whole are starting to trust more. Today the team seen what we have to achieve to establish ourselves with the RPI, Vassar's, St. Lawrence's and the Ithaca's."
