ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team lost to SUNY Cobleskill, 3-0, in the final home game of the 2021 season on Wednesday.

Set scores for the Fighting Tigers were 25-18, 25-19 and 25-12.

It was Senior Night for Bard's lone senior, Morenike Fabiyi.

"I'm glad Morenike had this opportunity to play one more time in this gym in front of her family and friends," Bard coach Stefanie Carrington said. "She played her heart out and made some great defensive saves. I hope she walks out of here with some amazing memories and looks back fondly on her time in a Raptors jersey."

Bard got seven digs and 16 kills from Ryan Lum and 19 assists from Adi David.

"Our defense generally was quite strong tonight," Carrington said. "It's really satisfying to see the team continue to strive to grow and learn this late in the season; it would be easy for them to coast the rest of the way but I love the way they never settle. Offensively we got some big swings from Laurel Edwards. Cobleskill had to make some big plays just to slow her down. Adi David is always such a rock. The team looks to her for stability and she always comes through."

Bard will wrap up the 2021 season at the Skidmore Invitational this weekend.
