ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team lost to SUNY Delhi, 2-0, in a non-league match on Tuesday night.
Bard outshot Delhi 22-5 and had a 5-0 advantage in corners but just couldn't break through.
"It was our best attacking game of the season," Bard coach
Kate Hofstede said. "Our goal was to get balls in behind their defense and get numerous shots on goal, which we achieved. From that perspective we did our job and committed to the attack."
There are two games left in Bard's 2021 season, including Senior Day this Saturday vs. RIT.
"Looking ahead we are excited about our Senior Day match against RIT," Hofstede said. "We want to support what we've worked on, both in the attack and on defense and have a complete game."
