POTSDAM, N.Y. - The Bard College women's soccer team lost to Clarkson University, 1-0, in a Liberty League game on Saturday.
It was Bard's second one-goal loss in less than 24 hours.
"This was our best showing in terms of aggression and consistent pressure," Bard coach
Kate Hofstede said. "It was not a pretty game of soccer, but the team played well and held the standard we've been building on for the past few weeks."
Madeline Chilton made eight saves for the Raptors.
"You know you're doing well when the other team gets frustrated to starts to foul a bit more," Hofstede said. "We didn't back down like we have in the past, so hopefully that's something that continues for the remainder of the season."
Next up for Bard is a non-league home game against SUNY Delhi at 7 on Tuesday night.
