GENEVA, N.Y. - The Bard College men's basketball team dropped their second matchup of the season with Hobart College, falling 88-58 to the Statesmen Friday evening.

The Raptors (0-23, 0-17 LL) fell behind 4-0 before turning to the three ball to take the lead. Freshman guard

Stefanos Psarras then got in on the action, making a three and scoring seven straight points as Bard took an 18-8 lead midway through the first half. The Statesmen (20-4, 14-3 LL) then took control of the game, ripping off a 21-2 stretch to take a nine point lead late. Hobart then closed out the half strong and took a 38-26 lead into the break.

The home team continued to showcase their strong offensive attack throughout the second half, scoring 50 points in the final 20 minutes as 15 different players scored for the Statesmen. Despite three Raptors scoring in double figures, Bard could never make up the difference as they dropped a tough road matchup.

Psarras led all scorers with 19 points, and added six rebounds as well as four assists. Koulouris finished just short of a double-double, picking up 11 points and eight rebounds, while Pacheco ended the night with 10 points.

The Raptors finish their 2019-20 season Saturday, Feb. 22, as they are on the road again for a 4:00 p.m. matchup with Ithaca College.
