CANTON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's squash team was defeated twice Sunday afternoon, falling to the University of Rochester and St. Lawrence University, 9-0, on day two of the Liberty League Championships.

Against Rochester, the third-ranked team in the nation, Julian Dime won 25 points in his matchup in the No. 2 spot, including pushing the second set to a 12-10 finish. No. 1 Rhys Nordstrom and No. 7 Noah Gichan each collected 20 points against Rochester.

Gichan continued his solid day against St. Lawrence, ranked 12th nationally, winning 19 points as he pushed the final set to a 13-11 result. Bard came close in the No. 9 spot to a win on the day, as Harrison Kroessler pushed his opponent to five sets.

After dropping the first set, Kroessler responded with back-to-back, 11-7, set wins, to go up 2-1. Unfortunately, his opponent was able to rally back and win the final two sets, taking the game and completing the sweep for St. Lawrence.

Up next for the Raptors are the College Squash Association National Team Championships. The Championships are set to run from February 15th-17th and will be held in New Haven, CT.
