ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's swimming team lost to Purchase College, 92-68, in the Raptors' home opener on Friday night.

Bard got off to a good start, winning the 200-medley relay with John Reisert, Kristof Szabo, Tom Gadron and Eli Shapiro. Each of those four would go on to win an individual event, but Purchase prevailed with superior depth.

Gadron was a double-winner, taking the 200-free and 100-back. Shapiro won the 50-free, Reisert won the 500-free, and Szabo took the 100-breast.

Up next for Bard is its annual trip to the Sarah Lawrence Sprint Carnival next weekend.
