NEWBURGH, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team opened the season with an 8-1 loss to Mount St. Mary College on Saturday morning.

The Knights (1-0) swept the three doubles matches, and won five of the six singles matches in straight sets.

Bard's only point of the day came from senior Satchel Fisher, who defeated Mount St. Mary senior Chris McGorty (Bellmore, NY), 6-4, 6-3.

The Raptors' home opener is next, and it's all their Liberty League opener, as Union visits on Tuesday evening.
