ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's tennis team lost to Union College, 8-1, in the Liberty League opener for both teams on Tuesday evening.

Bard's only point came at No. 1 singles, where Satchel Fisher topped junior Del Schunk (New York, NY), 6-3, 6-4. The Dutchmen (1-0) yielded just five games in the other five singles matches, and swept all three doubles matches as well.

Another Liberty League match awaits on Saturday, as the Raptors travel to Vassar.
