NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Bard College men's volleyball team lost to second-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology, 3-0, in a United Volleyball Conference match on Saturday afternoon at NYU.
The Ducks swept Bard 25-9, 25-17 and 25-11.
Stevens hit .514 in the match and produced 42 kills to 18 for Bard. Stevens also had five aces and six blocks.
The winners (15-3, 4-0 UVC) got nine kills from Jack Bittker (Penfield, NY), 28 assists from Grant Burden (Palos Park, IL), and six digs from Niko Lambert (Bridgewater, NJ).
Bard (1-14, 0-4 UVC) got four kills apiece from Jelani Bell-Isaac and
Tyler Zowaski, and 13 assists and six digs from
Josh Kim.
