MIDDLETOWN, CT - The Bard College men's squash team was defeated by New York University, 6-3, Friday night on the first day of the College Squash Association National Team Championships.

Artun Ak won their matches in straight sets, while No. 6
Theo Webb outlasted his opponent in five sets.

Pranjal Ghate nearly rallied from a 2-0 hole, but ultimately fell in the fifth and final set. Ghate won the third set ,11-5, and the fourth set, 14-12, before finally falling 11-9 in the final frame.
While No.5
Vikramaditya Joshi was the only other Raptor to win a set on the day, all the matchups were close across the scoresheet.
Up next for Bard is a matchup with the University of Chicago tomorrow (2/24) at 2:15 p.m. in the consolation bracket of the Chaffee Cup.
