POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Bard College men's squash team opened its 2025-26 season opener at the Vassar Round Robin. The Raptors fell in both matches against Vassar and Northeastern. 

Bard had five players suit up, with Miguel Rodriguez Robles taking the number 1 spot on the ladder, as Artemy Mukhin (the usual number 1) is studying abroad for the school year. Robles did an incredible job stepping into ladder 1. Against Vassar, he won six points in the third game, while against Northeastern, the match was much closer, with Robles falling in the first game 11-8. 

Joas Erasmus fought hard in his Northeastern match, nearly winning the first game, 10-12. Leo Wainberg-Wolski, Jake Petersen and Alec Halna du Fretay competed in their first squash matches. 

Bard will be back on November 15 when they host their home opener round robin.
