Artemy Mukhin earned a spot on the All-Liberty League First Team, as voted on by the conference's men's squash coaches, it was announced on Friday.
Mukhin is the first Raptor to be named to the All-Liberty League First Team. He was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Year in 2023 and became the first Raptor to be named as an All-Conference player. He was named to the second team last season.
"Artemy had a very dominant season this year and it's nice to see his efforts recognized by the rest of the league," said head coach Jack Smith. "He works hard and sets a good example of how to succeed at this level. I'm happy to see his work ethic pay off."
Mukhin was the Raptors' No. 1 player and had an overall record of 13-2. He defeated conference opponents such as Vassar, St. Lawrence, and Hobart during the regular season. At the Liberty League Championship, he went 3-0. Mukhin went on a 12-match win streak to begin his season, only dropping matches at the CSA Divisional Team Championships. In Philadelphia, he did pick up a win over Nicholas Gilman of Fordham, 11-2, 11-6, 11-6.
This season, he was recognized as the Liberty League Performer of the Week once and was placed on the honor roll three times. In addition to his performance at the top of Bard's ladder, he is an excellent student studying at the conservatory.
