ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's swimming and diving team lost to William Paterson University, 105-87, Saturday afternoon in a non-conference meet.

Dio Tzortzis led the Raptors on the day, winning both the 100-fly and 500-free. During the 500-free, he crushed his old school record by nearly nine seconds, finishing with a time of 4:52.62. He was also part of the 200-medley relay team that finished first to open the meet earlier in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, freshman
Hunter Davenport continued to impress in his first year at Bard, finishing in first as part of the 200-medley relay team and in the 100-breast. He also grabbed a second place finish in the 100-IM.
Even though he finished in second in the 100-IM, he still managed to break the school record with a time of 56.60, topping Tzortzis' old mark of 57.80.
Other Bard winners on the day included
Tyler Mar in the 50-free and
Kristof Szabo in the 1000-free.
Up next for the Raptors is a tri-meet in New Rochelle with the College of New Rochelle and Ceder Crest College on January 29th at 7 p.m.
