Nine first-place finishes power Raptors to win at SUNY Cobleskill

COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The Bard College men's swimming and diving team won its opening meet of 2018 in convincing fashion Saturday afternoon, topping Suny Cobleskill 103-55.

The Raptors earned their victory thanks to nine first-place finishes. The 200-medley relay team of Dio Tzortzis, Derek Low, Kevin Barbosa and Hunter Davenport got the day off to a good start with win.

Tzortzis collected wins in the 50-free and 100-IM, while Barbosa claimed a win in the 100-fly.

Davenport recorded a pair of wins in the 200-free and the 100-breast, but the real star of the day was Kristof Szabo.

The freshman finished with three wins in the 1000-free, 100-back and 500-free.
