Tzortzis and freshman Davenport set new records, Raptors edged in tight contest by St. Lawrence

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Bard College men's swimming and diving team was defeated in a close contest Saturday afternoon, falling to the Saints of St. Lawrence, 114.5 to 95.5

Dio Tzortzis continued to rewrite the Bard College swimming record book, shattering the former 200-back record by over six seconds with a time of 1:59.30. The junior also grabbed a win in the 200-free.

Hunter Davenport impressed in his first action of the season, as the freshman set a new school mark in the 200-breast with a time of 2:24.16. He also finished second in the 200-IM. 

Freshman Kristof Szabo won the the 1000-free, while freshman Tyler Mar tied for first in the 50-free. 

The Raptors also won the 200-medley relay and the 200-free relay.
