POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Bard College men's squash team won a pair of matches Saturday afternoon, defeating Boston University, 6-3, and Bryant University, 9-0.

Bard (9-4) began the day with a victory over Boston University, but it didn't come easily.

The matchup featured four games that went all five sets, three of which Bard was able to win, including the #2 matchup. 

Bard's #2, Ayateru Maeda, fell behind in the game, two sets to one, before rallying in the fourth set, winning it 14-12. He completed the comeback in the fifth set to seal the victory.

#7 Satwik Srikrishnan and #9 Artun Ak prevailed in five sets to help secure the match for Bard. 

In the second game of the day, the Raptors won with much greater ease, beating Bryant University, 9-0. The win was so convincing that Bard actually didn't lose a set in the process. 

The Raptors will return to action at the Liberty League Championships next weekend. It will start with matches on Saturday vs. Hobart and Vassar.
