POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Bard College women's volleyball team lost a pair of matches on Saturday at a Liberty League Crossover held at Vassar College.
The Raptors were swept by both RIT and Skidmore, 3-0.
RIT beat Bard 25-16, 25-21 and 25-19. Sarah Szybist (Colorado Springs, CO) had 22 kills (.571) and eight digs for the Tigers. Erin Parkinson (Carrollton, TX) had 35 assists.
Philippine Alba led Bard with eight kills and eight digs;
Maracela Talamantes had 12 assists, and
Emily Anastasi had three aces and eight digs.
Skidmore bested Bard 25-22, 25-12 and 25-20. Katy Ehnstrom (Kaneohe, HI) had 11 kills for Skidmore and Marcella Familiar-Bolanos had 21 digs.
Alba led Bard with 13 kills and 16 digs.
Jewel Smith had 11 assists, and
Emily Anastasi had 19 digs.
